I love your thrift store it's the best place to go to find what ever tickles your fancy. :D and the best part is it's right across the street from a kfc. :)

My sister was visiting from Maryland recently.  She was hoping to find a reasonably priced small chandelier she could use in the hallway of her apartment.  We had visited several Norfolk antique shops, to no avail.  We were near exhaustion but decided to try one last place--the Hope House Thrift Store.  I let her out while I drove around the block. When I returned she was still inside, so I knew something was up.  I drove around the block twice more before she appeared with the perfect chandelier in tow.  She was soooo excited!  Hope House came through for us again.

I had a fabulous time at you thrift store on Tuesday's $1 sale, I thought this was a great idea due to many people experiencing hard economic times.  I will definitely return to find more bargains.

 I stop by often and almost always walk away with a great find after sifting through the clothing section & sometimes literally walking w/some brand new kicks at unbeatable prices. Occasionally I'm lucky and all clothes are $1! They seem to know just the right music to play while shopping as well & I'll catch myself dancing to some oldies or humming along w/a catchy tune. They have a great set up at Stockley Gardens Arts Festival which is my fav... I could go on & on, I'm a thrift store junkie & Hope House is my fix! Ha Ha... they are good people too, not to mention their efforts for good causes. Keep up the good work!

One day, while getting lunch, I spotted the hope house store. Decided to look in, and wow, I left out w/ designer jeans for my daughter, dress slacks for my husband and shoes for me.  I try to get there at least once a week to get bargains.  I never leave empty handed.
